The 5th annual BearTown Market just called it a wrap for the 2013 season. This market of locally hand-made arts, crafts and gifts takes place at the Sun’aq Tribal Center (312 W Marine Way). The Beartown Market typically runs May-September and opens on cruise ship days. The hours of operation mirror those of the cruise ship schedules, but are usually around 8:30-4.

The BearTown Market is a perfect spot to peruse beautiful artwork, unique crafts, and munch on a delectable treat. You will find hand-made soaps crafted with local wild-flowers, jewelry, books written by local authors, and countless other treasures. You may also see Sun’aq Tribal Dancers for what is a beautiful show of culture and tradition.
