Abercrombie is a popular spot amongst the locals and tourists. This state park has something to offer for everyone. There are scenic trails you can walk along. Along the way you can expect to see  some of our beautiful wild flowers and birds. You will also see bunkers and other historical features from World War II. There’s a whole museum dedicated to World War II memorabilia.

Besides the trails and museum there are other attractions as well. You can take a dive in the lake and enjoy some swimming or perhaps go tide pooling or have a bonfire at the beach. There are also picnic sites and a picnic shelter perfect for those sunny Kodiak days. The park also welcomes people who want to camp, primarily tent campers. The camping limits for State Abercrombie Park are for 7 nights.
