2014 Holiday Bazaars

Holiday season is now in full swing on Kodiak Island. Although the Holiday Bazaars started in October, there are still a few Bazaars left in the season. It is a great time to stock up on Christmas gifts, especially for anyone that is visiting Kodiak at this time. Most items sold are unique and "Made in Kodiak" so there is no where else in the world like it. The items range from homemade earrings made out of beach glass to salmonberry jelly made from salmon berries that were harvested here on Kodiak. There are even Alaska Native art that is made by (Kodiak) Alaska Natives that you can not get anywhere else. Here is a list of the Christmas Bazaars left for the rest of the season:

November 29 10am-3pm @ VFW Post "Kodiak Community Craft Bazaar"

November 29 10am-3pm @ Alutiiq Museum "Winter Bazaar"

November 29 11am-4pm @ Port Lions "Winter Bazaar" 

December 5&6 10am-3pm @ St. Paul Lutheran "Holiday Bazaar"

December 6 10am-3pm @ Baptist Mission "Christmas Bazaar"

December 6 9am-4pm @ St. Mary's "Crafts Fair & Cookies by the Pound"

December 6 10am-3pm @ Kodiak Christian School "Christmas Bazaar"

December 12 1pm-7pm @ KANA "Last Chance Bazaar"
