Member Involvement
Committees
Executive: Exercises the powers of the Board of Directors between Board Meetings.
Finance: Oversees budget and financial concerns.
Membership: Assists with recruitment, retention, survey and other members services.
Chamber Activities: Plans special events, such as Forums, Business After Hours and Annual Meeting.
Community Relations: Plans activities involving other groups or community issues (USCG Appreciation Dinner, Litter and Beautification, and Scholarship).
Economic Development: Involves specific constituent groups such as Business Sales and Services, Fisheries, Visitor Industry and Economic Development.
Fund Raising: Develops fund raising events, including Crab Festival, ComFish Alaska and other special projects.

Chamber Meetings
Board of Directors: Third Monday, every month at noon. Members are welcome to attend.
Membership Forums: Announced as informative keynote speakers are available.
Business After Hours (BAH): Typically held the last Friday of each month at a different host business from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Socialize, network and relax with fellow Chamber members. |
