Greetings from the lower 48 and Tobacco Road... Great Web site. Ya'll have sold me on coming to Kodiak. I found ya'll by searching the net for plyler's and located Bob Plyler. I started mailing him and he told me about this web page. If you expand consider a section on hunting. Type game, cost of license and requirements (hunters safety etc.) Hat's off to the folk's that set this web page up..

Great page, y'all. Greetings from boring ol' Portland, Oregon. I'm gonna try to take the M/V Tustumena from Kodiak to Dutch Harbor next summer. Hopefully, that will be possible!! Hopefully, I can live someday someplace up North, maybe even Kodiak. That would be really cool.

I have a dream that someday I will live in Alaska. I read everything I can about this beautiful state and have just subscribed to "Alaska" magazine. All I can do is dream and wish; in the mean time, my heart belongs to Alaska. If there are any people who would like to write to me, please do so as I'd love to hear from you. :)

Fantastic page! I've never been to Kodiak, but plan to some day before I die. However, I do have a tie to the great north. 8 years ago when I entered a fantasy football league, The name of my team was the Kodiak Bears. Well, 8 years later, it still is. A lot of us owners didn't just settle on our team name. We involved all we could about the region it's derived from. Basically, the Kodiak Bears play in the "Midnight-Sun Igloo-Dome Stadium," completely made from ice, it's quite amazing. Of course we were the island's pride and joy as we represented Kodiak while winning 3 league championships. The league is quite fun, and because of that, it prompted me to learn as much about Kodiak as I could. I'm glad I did. From the photos on this page, the scenery is eye-popping. One day I hope to view it first hand. By the way. Of all my research, I never could find out who the Mayor of Kodiak is. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could e-mail it to me. And as for my web-page; It's nothing more than a fantasy football page for my league. It will contain a link to this page though. From Cleveland to Kodiak, have a great day.

Love your homepage site. My uncle and his family all live in Kodiak--Martin Wandersee, Carol Wandersee and their grown sons Dayton, and Aryan and their families. Does anyone know them? If so, say a big HELLO from their family in California. Thanks for the opportunity to view Alaska from our home in California! Sandy Potter Melodymaker@worldnet.att.net
