I lived on Kodiak between 1956-1960 and loved it. I went to Kodiak High School for my first two years. I am interested in contacting old school mates. Any ideas??. My wife and I visited Kodiak 3 years ago for a few days and the city has changed. The rest was still Kodiak. I also noticed that it still rains.

I've been to Alaska every summer for at least a brief visit for the last nine years. I have a free ticket on Alaska Airlines just waiting to use this summer and summer is running out. Kodiak, I haven't been to yet, enough of a reason to go. Hope to make it this month. Will look forward to it.

I'm looking forward to visiting Kodiak next week. We'll be there for a week of fly fishing for silver salmon.

I worked for Wakefield Fisheries back in 1957 and commercial fished all around Kodiak Island in 1958 and 1959 with John Suryan. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about that most beautiful Island on earth. Especially the people I met. If anyone would be interested in the old Alaska Sportsman magazines, which contain many stories about hunting and fishing on Kodiak, I have more than every issue available. You have a beautiful site here, keep up the good work. Will visit the site often.
