Where to Stay

Lodging on Kodiak Island runs the gamut from cozy B&Bs to chain motels. You may also choose to fly out to a remote lodge for an all-inclusive Alaskan-style resort experience. Regardless of your budget, you’ll find a place to lay your head in Kodiak.  The Visitors Bureau, Discover Kodiak, will help you sort out your lodging options.

It is important to note that during special events such as Crab Fest (Memorial Day Weekend), it is imperative that you call several weeks or months ahead to reserve your room.  During peak season (end of June through September), it is strongly recommended that you make reservations early. Some properties are booked as far as one year in advance, so plan ahead as far as practical.  It is not a good idea to show up in Kodiak without lodging reservations.
